Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Atlassian Specialist to lead the configuration, customization, and optimization of Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Jira Service Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise tool administration, process automation, integration with other DevOps tools, and governance around Agile/ITSM workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Atlassian product suite: Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.

• Design, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and custom fields for multiple teams and business units.

• Lead Atlassian upgrades, performance tuning, user management, and license optimization.

• Implement best practices around Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and ITIL frameworks within Jira and Confluence.

• Create dashboards, advanced filters, and reports for stakeholders, leadership, and development teams.

• Integrate Atlassian tools with CI/CD pipelines and third-party applications like Slack, GitHub, Jenkins, ServiceNow, Opsgenie, etc.

• Develop and maintain automation rules using Jira Automation, Scriptrunner, or other add-ons.

• Work closely with Product, DevOps, QA, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable Atlassian solutions.

• Provide user training, documentation, and tier-3 support for Atlassian-related issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6+ years of experience managing and administering Atlassian products in a large enterprise environment.

• Expertise in configuring Jira and Confluence, including custom workflows, issue types, schemes, permissions, and post functions.

• Strong scripting experience using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Jira REST API, or Automation for Jira.

• Experience integrating Atlassian tools with DevOps pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, or GitHub.

• Familiarity with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center deployment models.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum/ITSM practices and how to implement them in Jira.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
