Job summary

KeyLogic seeks a Senior Application Developer to support the Department of Energy in Germantown, MD. The role is on-site and requires U.S. Citizenship with a federal background suitability check.

Responsibilities include migrating Jira/Confluence to Atlassian Cloud, IAM implementation, and building Java/Javascript solutions on Azure. The position leads a small team and delivers technical documentation and client communications.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required and a Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• 10+ years designing, developing, testing and maintaining Jira/Confluence solutions.
• Strong Java and JavaScript software development experience.
• Experience with IAM implementation and management.
• Experience migrating Jira/Confluence to Atlassian Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs and supports migrations of Jira and Confluence to Atlassian Cloud.
• Provides Identity Management expertise and maintenance of IAM systems.
• Applies software updates to Jira, Confluence, WebSphere.
• Builds and maintains custom Jira, Java-based and Azure .NET web apps.
• Mentors a small team of developers and provides technical guidance.
• Documents requirements and technical designs clearly for clients and teammates.
• Diagnoses and resolves issues across existing applications.
• Communicates progress with clients and colleagues via video, phone or in person.
