Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT/SE or closely related field with significant experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom Jira solutions, including Jira Application Administration.
• Hands-on software development in Java and JavaScript; strong relational database experience (SQL).
• 4–6+ years Azure development experience and Atlassian Cloud migration experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain custom enterprise solutions in Jira, Java, and Azure .NET web apps.
• Lead Jira/Confluence migration from Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
• Apply updates and security patches to Jira, Confluence, and WebSphere environments.
• Integrate Jira with external tools and workflows to support operations.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers on the team.
• Modernize legacy apps to current platforms and re-platform as needed.
• Translate business needs into technical specs and design docs.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across environments, including security alerts.
• Create clear, concise technical documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Communicate with government clients and stakeholders via various channels.
• Coordinate and lead development activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
