Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Staff Engineer‑Test Engineer based in Austin, TX. The successful applicant will develop test programs for timing-based products and aid in their development throughout all stages.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, alongside 15+ years of experience in ATE test program development. Strong understanding of digital and analog circuits is essential.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years' experience developing ATE test programs for integrated circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with ATE hardware/software development.
  • Proven leadership in multi-geographic product development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Generate test programs for timing based products.
  • Review product specifications and advise design teams on manufacturability.
  • Support customer sampling and offshore volume production ramps.
