Textron Systems is seeking a Senior ATE Project Technical Lead (IV) to drive the architecture, development, and deployment of automated test equipment. You will guide cross-functional teams through the full lifecycle of complex test systems while meeting cost, schedule, and technical goals.

The role combines systems test engineering, design oversight, and EVMS tracking, ideal for a veteran defense engineer who bridges legacy ATS with modern hardware/software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years of ATE/ATS development and leadership experience.
• Active or ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, and software design to deploy ATE solutions.
• Direct design, integration, and deployment of test equipment using COTS instrumentation and custom interfaces.
• Oversee legacy ATS architectures, including TPS development, validation, and integration.
• Act as CAM, manage status reporting, IMS scheduling, and EVMS-based control.
• Lead ATE requirements analysis, design reviews, and certification.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
