Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior ATE Security Software Engineer to own secure device provisioning and develop reusable ATE libraries for test automation. You will work across security, DFT, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure secure provisioning and cost‑effective high‑volume manufacturing of connected devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in silicon test, security engineering, or test software development.
• Experience with device security and secure provisioning during test, including OTP/eFuse programming.
• Fundamentals of encryption, cryptographic keys, and secure communication channels.
• Strong software engineering skills with Python and/or C/C++, and building reusable, well‑architected code.
• Experience developing test or automation software on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne UltraFLEX.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• International travel required during release‑to‑production phases.

Responsibilities

• Own device security and secure provisioning during test, including secure boot, crypto provisioning, and fuse‑based configuration.
• Develop, own, and qualify OTP/eFuse programming flows across process, voltage, and temperature.
• Integrate ATE flows with secure provisioning systems, HSMs, or key management.
• Develop and validate JTAG and debug‑access flows for post‑provisioned units and RMA quality.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable ATE libraries and tooling to accelerate test development.
• Develop utilities for pattern search, sub‑flow generation, and auto‑generation of test programs from patterns.
• Architect libraries for reusability with modular design, version control, and testing.
• Run firmware on DUTs to enable secure provisioning and reduce test time.
• Collaborate with ASIC design, DFT, security, and firmware teams to meet Amazon standards.
• Identify security, test‑readiness, and software gaps and drive them to resolution.
• Lead technical and security reviews and set software and security best practices.
