Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking a Senior ATE Security Engineer to secure device provisioning and develop reusable ATE libraries. You will work across security, test, and firmware teams to ensure testability, security, and cost‑effective manufacturing for high‑volume production.

You will own secure provisioning on Advantest 93K or Teradyne UltraFLEX, build automation tooling, and drive security reviews and best practices throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with device security and secure provisioning during test.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for reusable, well‑architected code.
• Experience with Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne UltraFLEX.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• International travel during release‑to‑production phases.

Responsibilities

• Own device security and secure provisioning during test, including secure boot, key injection, cryptographic provisioning, fuse‑based configuration and lifecycle management.
• Develop, own, and qualify OTP/eFuse programming flows and address margin, read‑back verification and repeatability.
• Integrate ATE flows with secure provisioning systems, HSMs, or key management infrastructure.
• Develop and validate JTAG and debug‑access flows on post‑provisioned units for RMA and quality issues.
• Design, build, and maintain reusable ATE library code and tooling to accelerate test development.
• Develop utilities for pattern search and analysis, sub‑flow generation, and auto‑generation of test programs from patterns.
• Architect libraries and frameworks for reusability and scale with best software practices.
• Run firmware on DUTs to enable secure provisioning and reduced test time.
• Partner with ASIC design, DFT, security, and firmware teams to meet Amazon standards.
• Identify security, test readiness, and software gaps and drive them to resolution.
• Lead technical and security reviews and set software and security best practices.
