Job summary

Amazon Leo is seeking an ATE Test Engineer to design, develop, and optimize test solutions for LEO satellite and ground terminal products. You will work on ATE hardware and test programs across digital, high-speed I/O, and RF interfaces, supporting from silicon bring-up to high-volume production.

You will collaborate with DFT teams, ensure test readiness, and drive yield targets while traveling for release-to-production phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in ATE test engineering, preferably in high-volume manufacturing of comms/modem processors or consumer SoCs.
• Experience with Teradyne UltraFLEX and/or Advantest platforms.
• Experience with digital, high-speed I/O, and RF ATE test.
• Experience with ATE hardware design: load boards, sockets, probe cards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• International travel required during release-to-production phases.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and verify ATE hardware for signal and power integrity (load board, socket, probe card).
• Develop and optimize test programs for mm-wave SoCs on ATE platforms (Teradyne/Advantest).
• Create RF, mixed-signal, high-speed interface test routines for high-volume manufacturing.
• Implement on-chip calibration techniques and validate calibration across PVT corners.
• Collaborate with DFT teams to define test insertion strategies and optimize coverage.
• Drive test program release to production with quality and yield targets.
• Optimize test time, yield, and repeatability across process/voltage/temperature.
• Support RMA and field-return debug using test/characterization data.
