Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Casual Air Traffic Control Instructor to join the Controller Training Solutions team at the Muskegon County ATCT/TRACON (MKG) in Muskegon, MI. The instructor will deliver high-quality classroom and simulation training to developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.

Applicants should have FAA CPC experience (live traffic) and be capable of obtaining FAA instructor certifications.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic.
• Experience at Muskegon County ATCT/TRACON (MKG) or equivalent facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a diverse student group.
• Mentor students and potentially support curriculum design and development.
• Demonstrate knowledge to obtain radar/non-radar simulation lab certifications at FAA facilities.
• Interface effectively with FAA personnel to meet local facility and NAS training needs.
