Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Full-time Air Traffic Control Instructor for the Memphis ARTCC (ZME) team in Memphis, TN, to train and mentor development air traffic controllers and CPCs. The role focuses on delivering hands-on classroom and simulation training using current ATC automation and simulation systems.

The candidate should have significant FAA CPC experience, the ability to obtain required certifications, and a strong track record in teaching, curriculum design, and FAA liaison

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic.
• Experience at the same type and same or greater level of ATC facility as the Memphis ARTCC (ZME).
• CPC certification required with the ability to obtain Instructor-II Simulation Laboratory and Classroom Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation laboratory training to a wide variety of students, including developmental air traffic controllers and CPCs.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) as needed.
• Contribute to curriculum design and development to support ongoing FAA training programs.
