Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Sr. ATC Specialist to support the FAA - PSS contract in the Civilian Division. This full-time role requires extensive air traffic control experience in en route or terminal environments and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

The position involves requirements verification, testing development, and coordination with user teams and system engineers. You will also prepare briefing materials and provide ad-hoc FAA support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 20+ years of Air Traffic Control technical and operational experience in En Route or Terminal environments.
• US Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with requirements verification and tracking for new En Route and Terminal Air Traffic Control tools and systems.
• Assisting with identifying potential inconsistencies and usability issues related to any system changes.
• Assisting with testing development and execution.
• Interfacing with user teams, system engineers and other program personnel as necessary.
• Producing briefing materials as required.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the FAA as needed.
