Job summary

Tetra Tech AMT is seeking an Air Traffic Control Specialist in Fort Worth, TX. The role centers on supporting FAA instrument flight procedure design and optimizing airspace and procedures using the TARGETS system.

The candidate will analyze IFP data, provide risk assessments, review FAA directives, and prepare briefing materials. A CPC with 15+ years experience and CAD/automation tool familiarity is preferred; travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (designed) or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 15 years of experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
Experience with complex automation tools, CAD software, or similar applications.

Responsibilities

Provide support to FAA offices responsible for instrument flight procedure (IFP) design.
Operate TARGETS software and advise on enhancements to these systems.
Retrieve and analyze IFP and air traffic data from IOAA tools and radar data retrieval programs.
Provide expertise to the FAA regarding IFP design risks and alternatives.
Review FAA Orders and Directives pertaining to IFP criteria and ensure compliance.
Produce briefing material related to IFP development and flight paths.
Supervise graphics staff and provide technical assistance as needed.
Travel up to 30% of the time as required by FAA needs.
