Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
• Experience with complex automation tools, CAD software, or similar applications.
• Technical work related to air traffic control or airspace design.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities.
• Strong facilitation and project management skills.
• Proficiency in industry standard office software (MS Office, Acrobat).
• Knowledge of airspace or procedures design and analytical skills.
• Experience with TARGETS software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to FAA offices responsible for instrument flight procedure (IFP) design.
• Provide technical assistance for optimization of airspace and procedure design in IFP projects.
• Operate the TARGETS software and maintain proficiency; propose enhancements.
• Retrieve and analyze IFP/ATC data from IOAA tools and radar sources.
• Provide expertise on IFP design risks and alternatives to FAA.
• Review FAA Orders and Directives affecting IFP design criteria.
• Produce briefing materials and presentations for IFP development.
• Supervise graphics staff and offer technical assistance as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of work with criteria.
• Coordinate with IFP workgroup stakeholders as directed.
• Support meetings and draft meeting documents for TARGETS-related activities.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize own work; travel up to 30% as required.
