Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, seeks an experienced Air Traffic Control Specialist to support the Traffic Flow Management Enhancement Program (TFMEP) at FAA HQ and DOT TFMEP Control Center. You will apply ATC expertise to real-time TFMEP operations, evaluate performance, and document outcomes to improve TFMEP processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Air Traffic Control, Traffic Flow Management, or NAS operations.
• Strong understanding of FAA air traffic operations, procedures, terminology, and decision-making.
• Ability to analyze NAS conditions and TFMEP performance to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational expertise in TFMEP strategic deconfliction and NAS traffic flow management.
• Support real-time implementation and assessment of TFMEP operational strategies.
• Analyze NAS conditions and TFMEP metrics to support operational decision-making.
• Record and evaluate operational data for TFMEP events and activities.
• Conduct post-event reviews comparing planned and actual NAS performance.
• Respond to pre- and post-operational requests for analysis.
• Identify trends, constraints, and improvements to TFMEP procedures.
• Document findings and recommendations to improve TFMEP effectiveness.
• Coordinate with TFMEP personnel, FAA, and stakeholders.
• Participate in operational briefings and TFMEP execution activities.
• Support a 24/7 operational environment as required.
