Job summary

Tetra Tech AMT seeks an Air Traffic Control Specialist to support FAA instrument flight procedure (IFP) design and optimization. You will run TARGETS simulations, analyze data, and advise on procedures and risks while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role requires a CPC with 15+ years’ experience, strong communication, and project-management skills. Travel up to 30% may be required; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 15 years as a Certified Professional Controller (CPC).
• Experience with complex automation tools, CAD software, or similar applications.
• Technical work related to air traffic control or airspace design.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to FAA offices responsible for instrument flight procedure (IFP) design.
• Provide technical assistance to optimize airspace and IFP procedure design.
• Operate TARGETS software and advise FAA on enhancements.
• Retrieve and analyze IFP and air traffic data from IOAA and radar sources.
• Review FAA Orders and Directives related to IFP procedures.
