Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Manager to supervise audit engagements from planning through wrap-up, ensuring rigorous GAAP/GAAS application. The role emphasizes client development, profitability, and high-quality deliverables.

The candidate will mentor staff, review workpapers, and communicate complex issues to clients and governance bodies, while maintaining engagement profitability and adherence to firm standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; Master's preferred.
• Active US CPA or equivalent required; licensing timelines per policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review engagement work across planning, field work, and wrap-up stages.
• Advise client on economic and regulatory risks; ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance.
• Review SEC filings and PCAOB-related work for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and coaching to Associates and Senior Associates.
• Plan audits and oversee execution with quality and timeliness.
