Boos & Associates is seeking a seasoned Assurance Senior to lead audit engagements, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients in a deadline-driven environment. The role requires strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge and supervisory experience, with CPA preferred and active licensing pursued.

The Senior Assurance Associate will guide planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up stages, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance across industries.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• Master's degree in Accountancy preferred.
• 2+ years of prior experience in public accounting or 4+ years of relevant professional accounting experience working for companies in general industry required.
• 1+ years of prior supervisory experience preferred.
• CPA preferred; actively pursuing completion of CPA licensing required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
• Solid project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the execution of audit and assurance engagements from planning to completion, including fieldwork and reporting phases.
• Review working papers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards (GAAP, GAAS, and firm policies).
• Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information and documentation for engagements.
• Identify and communicate audit issues and areas for risk mitigation to clients and management.
• Assist in the design and implementation of audit strategies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates, promoting a culture of learning and development.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring timely communication and addressing concerns as needed.
• Stay up to date with relevant industry developments and regulatory changes, contributing to the firm's knowledge pool.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals for new clients and business development activities.
