Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate to lead value-added audits within the Americas internal audit team. You will oversee planning, fieldwork, and reporting, guiding a team of 5–8 staff, and ensuring robust internal controls and compliance with corporate standards.

The role requires 4+ years in audit or related fields, strong communication, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Travel up to 30% may be required; CPA/CIA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• CPA or CIA preferred or pursuing
• 4+ years of audit, consulting, or manufacturing accounting experience
• Experience in public accounting preferred
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Word; Oracle R12 knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead audit projects as auditor-in-charge.
• Execute planning, fieldwork, and reporting for engagements.
• Review internal controls and compliance with standards and policies.
• Utilize data analytics and collaborate with IT Audit, SOX, and global teams.
• Draft clear audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain technical skills in accounting, audit, and IT.
