Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior, Third Party Attestation to lead and execute third-party attestation engagements including SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, WebTrust for CAs, HITRUST, SSPA, ISO, MRC and CSA STAR.

You will document, validate, test, and assess various control systems, focusing on IT risk and control environments, while guiding staff on audit procedures and engagement management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Managerial Marketing/Entrepreneurship, Finance or Economics, required.
• Masters in Accounting with IS minor or related advanced degree preferred.
• More than three years of IT/internal/external audit experience.
• More than one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, SOX, ISO 27001 and security/privacy engagements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan engagements and allocate resources with engagement manager.
• Develop test plans and audit programs; document results.
• Validate operating effectiveness of client controls and prepare attestations.
• Coach junior staff and supervise engagement teams.
• Coordinate with client personnel and management to improve processes.
