Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior in Third Party Attestation to lead the preparation of SOC 1/2/3, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, ISO, and related attestations. This role focuses on documenting, testing, and assessing internal controls across multiple industries while integrating technology into the examination process.

You will develop intermediate auditing knowledge, apply professional standards, and supervise staff on engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; focus in Accounting or MIS preferred.
• Two+ years in IT, internal or external audit required.
• Certifications preferred (CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM, CRISC).
• Experience with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, ISO 27001 and security/privacy engagements desired.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute attestation examinations; document control environment.
• Design test plans, evaluate deficiencies, and assess financial reporting controls.
• Prepare communications to client and Audit Committee; coordinate with engagement team.
• Supervise Associates; provide coaching and review work papers and reports.
