Job description

• Execute and manage day-to-day activities of audit engagements with construction clients from start to finish.
• Manage engagement budgets, planning, fieldwork, staff direction, and completion of financial statements and related disclosures.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable condition correspondence letters.
• Communicate technical matters proactively and effectively with staff, management, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 2 years of public accounting audit experience required, with emphasis in financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations is required.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including infrequent overnight travel.
