Job summary

Aumni is seeking a Senior Associate Credit Approver in its Wealth Management Risk team in Columbus, OH. You will evaluate complex client and transaction data and provide independent credit risk assessments to support management decisions in commercial lending and related transactions.

You will oversee credit analysis, apply risk policies, and collaborate with bankers, underwriters, and risk professionals to ensure responsible lending while staying aligned with regulatory standards and firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
• 3 years CRE lending or 5 years in banking/finance.
• Strong understanding of multifamily property valuations and cash flow analysis.
• Strong financial analysis of cash flows, valuations, and personal financial statements.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, detail-focused environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to prioritize and plan credit analysis tasks.
• Familiarity with regional CRE markets and municipal regulations.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; adaptability to proprietary systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee credit analysis and risk evaluation for loans governed by Credit Risk Policies and Guidelines.
• Evaluate and manage risks in each transaction.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders including sales, processing, closing, and legal.
• Apply relevant policies, standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements to all credit analysis activities.
• Apply data analysis techniques to interpret results and provide insights and recommendations to management.
• Serve as a technical expert in addressing inquiries and resolving system-related issues specific to credit risk analysis and management tools.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in credit risk management to enhance decision-making.
