Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in credit review, risk or credit risk management including a management role.
• Strong working knowledge of risk and credit risk management frameworks.
• Experience in Consumer or Scored Commercial Lending is preferred.
• Technical accounting (GAAP) or financial statement analysis knowledge.
• Understanding of credit and behavioral models within scored originations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as department SME in Consumer/Scored Commercial Credit Risk, including originations and portfolio monitoring.
• Develop relationships with bank management, regulators and the Credit Review team to execute reviews.
• Contribute to annual and strategic plans, monitor progress and address recommendations.
• Monitor credit-related risk across the Bank and Holding Company including subsidiaries.
• Provide technical guidance for integrated CR engagements.
• Develop and manage a credit review program to assess risk and compliance.
• Coordinate with management to address credit review objectives and procedures.
• Contribute to improvement of Credit Review tools and methods.
• Identify emerging risk issues to enhance credit risk practices enterprise-wide.
• Present risk information to senior management and the Board.
