Job summary

The Equus Group is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Wealth Management to serve as a primary contact for wealth management partners, RIAs, family offices, and private wealth platforms. You will coordinate client initiatives and deliver comprehensive operational and product support across private market strategies.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in wealth management or related client-facing roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of private equity fund structures, capital calls, and distributions; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain deep knowledge of alternative investment strategies, commingled funds, registered products, and wealth channel trends to support sophisticated investor dialogues.
  • Develop customized pitch decks, due diligence materials, fund updates, and market commentary tailored for private wealth partners and institutional clients.
  • Own recurring and ad-hoc requests for key home office relationships, including quarterly reporting, custom performance analyses, and operational inquiries.
  • Lead the onboarding of investment vehicles onto wealth platforms, coordinating cross-functional teams to manage RFIs/RFPs, diligence documentation, and launch logistics.
  • Partner with internal and external distribution teams to support fundraising initiatives by addressing bespoke client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client servicing workflows, build scalable operational solutions, and support platform expansion.
  • Track industry events, monitor competitive offerings, and gather market insights to inform business strategy.

Our client, a premier private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Wealth Management. In this role, you will serve as a primary contact for key wealth management partners, including private wealth platforms, distribution networks, RIAs, and family offices, ensuring a high-touch, institutional client experience. Working alongside internal distribution, product, investment, and operational teams, you will coordinate key client initiatives, manage day-to-day platform requests, and deliver seamless operational and product support across the firm's private market strategies.


Key Responsibilities

Qualifications


  • 3–6 years of experience in Wealth Management, RIA/Family Office coverage, or client-facing roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of private equity fund structures, capital calls, and distributions; exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • CFA/CAIA or progress towards either preferred.
