The University of Miami seeks an accomplished Associate Vice President, Physician & Faculty Compensation to lead enterprise-wide compensation strategy across the Miller School of Medicine and UHealth. The role serves as the institutional authority on compensation, FMV, governance, and funds flow, advising senior leadership on transformation and financial alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, finance, or related field.
10+ years in leadership roles in physician or faculty compensation.
Experience advising executive leadership and governing boards.
Experience with enterprise transformation and sensitive compensation matters.
Knowledge of FMV, commercial reasonableness, Stark Law and related compliance.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior strategic advisor on physician and faculty compensation across enterprise.
Develop compensation philosophy, governance, and models aligned with objectives.
Oversee funds flow, FMV, compliance, and benchmarking initiatives.
Lead enterprise compensation analytics, workforce planning, and financial alignment.
Collaborate with Dean, CFO, and other executives on recruitment and growth strategies.
