University of North Carolina at Pembroke seeks an accomplished senior leader to steward student success across the university. The Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success will lead strategic planning, data-informed decision making, and comprehensive academic support services from admission through graduation.

The role oversees advising, tutoring, TRIO programs, and engagement initiatives, ensuring equitable outcomes and continuous improvement in student achievement and degree completion.

Competenze

• Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution is required.
• Seven years of higher education administrative leadership experience including at least five years in a student success unit or role.
• Experience with budgeting, personnel management, operational oversight and program assessment.

Mansioni

• Provide vision and leadership for campus-wide student success initiatives and integrated academic support services.
• Lead collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of student success data and metrics.
• Direct supervision of key student success directors and coordination across the institution.
• Oversee budgeting, personnel management, and assessment activities for the Center for Student Success.
• Collaborate with deans, department chairs, faculty, and staff to advance a coordinated institutional approach to student success.
• Pursue external funding opportunities to support student success initiatives and programs.
