Confidential Recruiting Partners is seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join our growing structures practice in Los Angeles, CA. Onsite positions include relocation support and visa sponsorship restricted options.

The role offers technical leadership, client engagement, mentorship, and opportunities to influence projects from design through construction across various sectors.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Experience collaborating with contractors, design teams, and clients.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of project delivery and client relationship management.
  • Active PE and/or SE license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis and building codes.
  • Experience leading projects through design and construction phases.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and drafting staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support project delivery, resource planning, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Represent the organization within industry events and professional associations.
  • Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for various building types and sectors.
  • Ensure engineering solutions comply with building codes and standards.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, proposal preparation, and project pursuits.
  • Review deliverables, calculations, drawings, reports, and specifications to maintain quality.
  • Support projects during construction through site observations and field reviews.

Our client is seeking experienced Structural Engineers to join its growing structures practice.

This position offers the opportunity to lead complex structural engineering projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, support construction-phase activities, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across a variety of sectors. The role also provides opportunities for technical leadership, client engagement, mentorship, and business development involvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and drafting staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles.

  • Lead the analysis and design of structural systems for a variety of building types and project sectors.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Experience collaborating with contractors, design teams, and clients.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven track record of project delivery and client relationship management.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, design methodologies, and applicable building codes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading structural engineering projects through design and construction phases.
Preferred Skills:
  • Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Interest in contributing to practice growth and market development initiatives.
  • Business development, proposal development, and project pursuit experience.
  • Experience within consulting engineering or multidisciplinary design environments.
  • Experience with commercial, institutional, mixed-use, healthcare, educational, aviation, cultural, or large-scale building projects.
