NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Associate Specialist in Accounting to support journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes within a multi-entity shared-services environment.

This role involves collaboration with cross-functional finance teams and adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards. The position will prepare routine entries, maintain ledger accuracy, and assist with financial reporting while helping optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting, finance, or audit experience.
• Experience supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills.
• Experience in a multi-entity or shared services environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accounting Execution & Journal Support: Prepare routine journal entries and adjustments; maintain general ledger records; investigate discrepancies; follow internal controls.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Close: Prepare reconciliations; support month-end and year-end close; identify variances; maintain close documentation.
• Financial Reporting Support: Assist in routine financial reporting; prepare schedules for management and auditors; ensure timely deliverables.
• Process Support & Collaboration: Support process improvements; update accounting templates; collaborate with cross-functional teams; handle other tasks.

The Senior Associate Specialist, Accounting supports core accounting operations by executing assigned accounting tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role assists with journal entries, reconciliations, financial close activities, and audit support while developing technical accounting knowledge and experience. The Senior Associate Specialist works closely with Specialists and Managers to ensure accurate financial records, timely close activities, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting Execution & Journal Support
  • Prepare routine journal entries and accounting adjustments under established guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate general ledger records.
  • Support investigation of discrepancies in ledger accounts and transactional data.
  • Follow internal controls and standard accounting procedures to ensure data integrity.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations & Close
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Support month‑end and year‑end close activities by preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Assist in identifying variances and discrepancies and elevate findings for review.
  • Maintain organized close documentation and workpapers.
• Financial Reporting Support
  • Assist in preparing routine operational and statutory financial reports.
  • Support preparation of accounting schedules and reports for management and auditors.
  • Ensure assigned reporting deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
• Process Support & Collaboration
  • Support process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating accounting templates and documentation.
  • Collaborate with accounting team members and cross‑functional finance teams to resolve routine issues.
  • Perform other accounting‑related tasks as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance / accounting or related field preferred.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit roles.
• Experience supporting journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Remain stationary for long periods of time. Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. Perform work during US business hours and time zones.

WORK CONDITIONS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Some travel may be required. Perform work from a remote location with stable internet connection.

Compensation & Pay Range

For roles residing in the US, we share pay and benefit levels to support pay transparency requirements. For other countries, we are more than happy to share our competitive pay and benefit levels during the interview process. This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable. NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is: $88,600 - $107,600. All regular full‑time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
