Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm delivering operational improvement across industries. The Senior Associate in the Sports, Media, and Entertainment (SM&E) team supports private equity and corporate clients through the full transaction lifecycle, including integration, carve‑out, and performance‑improvement initiatives that drive value.

You will use financial modeling to develop recommendations and present to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, preferably with an M&A focus in the SM&E space.
• MBA or comparable advanced degree preferred.
• Flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify key client issues and own deliverables across workstreams to deliver service excellence.
• Leverage advanced financial modeling and Excel to analyze large datasets and develop actionable client recommendations.
• Lead client interactions, facilitate working sessions, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Own and maintain deliverables such as synergy and performance‑improvement models, cost models, and integration trackers.
• Coordinate across workstreams and support team development through coaching and feedback.
