Job summary

Repsol is seeking a Senior Associate, Origination, Commercial Analytics & Market Analysis to grow its North American renewable portfolio. You will blend customer origination, market intelligence, and pricing strategy to identify opportunities across PJM, MISO, NYISO, ERCOT, and WECC, supporting PPA, VPPA, REC, and other structured energy transactions.

You will work with Development, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams to translate market insights into commercial actions and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required.
MBA/MS in related fields preferred.
3–7 years of renewable energy, power markets, or energy finance experience.
Experience supporting origination, negotiation, and execution of renewable energy transactions.
Strong understanding of North American power markets (PJM, MISO, NYISO, ERCOT, WECC).

Responsibilities

Develop market intelligence to inform origination strategies across multiple regional markets.
Monitor power market fundamentals, capacity markets, and renewables penetration.
Support pricing, valuation, and margin analysis for energy transactions.
Prepare market outlooks and senior leadership materials.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to advance commercial opportunities in RRNA.
