Job summary

EDP Renewables North America is seeking an Origination Senior Associate to work under the EVP of Origination, focusing on large-load interconnection structures, data center growth, tariffs, and policy trends to support North America commercial strategies.

You will produce market assessments, financial analyses, and executive materials; collaborate with utilities, regulators, and data center customers; and contribute to AI-driven trends monitoring and innovative energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 5+ years of renewable energy, energy structuring, or related experience.
• Understanding of energy procurement strategies for hyperscale/data center operators.
• Familiarity with tariffs, interconnection processes, and power market design.

Responsibilities

• Create presentations, market assessments, financial analyses, and executive materials for stakeholders.
• Support the Origination team on hyper-scaler RFPs and product solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities by analyzing large-load growth and data center trends.
• Monitor tariffs and interconnection developments with utilities and regulators.
• Present deliverables to internal and external audiences to advance department objectives.
