EDP Renewables North America is seeking an Origination Senior Associate to support commercial strategies across North America. You will analyze interconnection structures, market tariffs, and policy trends to enable seamless data center energy offerings.

The role requires 5+ years in renewable energy and a bachelor's degree in a related field, with a hybrid work model across multiple regional offices including Indianapolis. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Energy Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy structuring, utility power markets, corporate energy procurement, data center energy strategy, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of wholesale power markets (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or SPP).

Responsibilities

• Analyze large-load growth trends and data center market developments to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with utilities/regulators to track tariffs and interconnection frameworks.
• Create market assessments, financial analyses, and executive materials for stakeholders.
• Support originations team on hyper-scaler RFPs and product solutions.
• Create and present deliverables to internal and external parties to advance objectives.
• Monitor AI-driven data center growth, electrification, and sustainability strategies.
