UMB Bank is seeking a Sr. Associate Relations Partner in Kansas City, MO. This role serves as a trusted advisor to people leaders across business lines on associate experience, HR policy, and risk mitigation while championing the culture and inclusion initiatives.

The position is hybrid (Mon-Thu on-site, Fri remote) in downtown Kansas City. The candidate will lead investigations, training initiatives, and advisory services to improve the associate experience and ensure compliance with employment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• At least 8 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent.
• Experience in associate/employee relations including HR employment data analysis.
• Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
• Ability to drive cross-group collaboration and communicate across multiple streams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder updates.

Responsabilités

• Serve as adviser to people leaders on performance management, PIP, policies, and employment laws up to termination.
• Lead internal investigations from interviews to action plans, with Legal involvement as needed.
• Handle reasonable accommodation requests including interactive dialogues.
• Analyze trends to identify training needs for leaders and deliver training sessions.
• Provide trusted guidance to associates on complex questions and advise management with recommended actions.
