Job description

Apr 27, 2025 - Juniper Square is hiring a remote Associate Recruiter. Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 cad base salary. Location: Canada.

About Juniper Square

Our mission is to unlock the full potential of private markets. Privately owned assets like commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital make up half of our financial ecosystem yet remain inaccessible to most people. We are digitizing these markets, and as a result, bringing efficiency, transparency, and access to one of the most productive corners of our financial ecosystem. If you care about making the world a better place by making markets work better through technology – all while contributing as a member of a values-driven organization – we want to hear from you.

Juniper Square offers employees a variety of ways to work, ranging from a fully remote experience to working full-time in one of our physical offices. We invest heavily in digital-first operations, allowing our teams to collaborate effectively across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian Provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England. We also have a physical office in San Francisco, New York City, and Bangalore for employees who prefer to work in an office some or all of the time.

About your role

This role is remote-friendly within Canada and open to candidates based in British Columbia or Ontario.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global Talent team at a hyper-growth, late-stage fintech startup that’s helping scale a world-class organization at speed. As part of our fast-moving, high-impact team, you’ll step into a dynamic role that goes beyond traditional coordination - giving you exposure to multiple facets of the hiring lifecycle and setting the stage for the next step in your career.

We’re looking for someone with 1+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator who’s eager to take on a broader scope. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across scheduling, sourcing, enablement, and recruiting operations - while helping implement new tools to automate and enhance the candidate experience.

This role is designed to help you build the foundation needed to grow into a full-cycle recruiter or into a career in talent operations. You’ll be part of a global team that values collaboration, innovation, and moving quickly to support business growth.

If you're curious, proactive, and excited about having an immediate impact while developing a well-rounded recruiting skill set, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
  • Coordinate interviews across multiple time zones, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and interviewers

  • Partner with recruiters to source top talent through platforms like LinkedIn, Ashby, and other tools

  • Assist with application reviews to help identify high-potential candidates quickly and thoughtfully

  • Own and optimize key workflows in our ATS (Ashby) to support scalability, data integrity, and operational efficiency

  • Collaborate with our People Analytics & Programs Manager on special projects that support hiring strategy and recruiting excellence

  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience at every stage of the hiring journey - from initial outreach to final feedback

  • Serve as a trusted partner to recruiters by helping drive team success through strong communication, organization, and process support

  • Continuously look for ways to improve and streamline recruiting processes to support our team’s high-growth hiring goals

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or in a similar talent support role

  • Experience working with an ATS (bonus points for Ashby) and a strong interest in learning recruiting tools and systems

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, preferably a tech start-up

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with candidates and internal stakeholders at all levels

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - you're always looking for ways to improve processes and create efficiency

  • Passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience and supporting a high-performing recruiting team

  • Curiosity and ambition to grow in the talent space - whether into full-cycle recruiting, talent operations, or beyond

  • A team-first attitude, willingness to roll up your sleeves, and excitement about contributing to a company in high-growth mode

Compensation

Compensation for this position includes a base salary and a variety of benefits. The Canadian base salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000 CAD. Actual base salary will be based on candidate-specific factors, including experience, skillset, and location, and local minimum pay requirements as applicable.

Benefits include:

  • Health, dental, and vision care for you and your family

  • Life insurance

  • Mental wellness coverage

  • Fertility and growing family support

  • Flex Time Off in addition to company paid holidays

  • Paid family leave, medical leave, and bereavement leave policies

  • Retirement saving plans

  • Allowance to customize your work and technology setup at home

  • Annual professional development stipend

Your recruiter can provide additional details about compensation and benefits.
