Job summary

MathCo is hiring a Senior Associate Recruiter in the Chicago area. This hybrid role requires in-office collaboration with optional remote work.

You will partner with hiring managers, HR, and the Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire top talent across North America, focusing on consulting, engineering, and data science across multiple industries. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in Talent Acquisition, strong sourcing skills, and experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS/CRM tools.

Qualifications

3–6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Executive Search, or Talent Sourcing.
Experience recruiting across consulting, engineering, data science, analytics, AI/ML, tech, or professional services.
Experience with high-growth organizations and collaboration with US-based hiring managers.
Experience with ATS, CRM, and recruiting technologies.
Strong interviewing, evaluation, and closing capabilities.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

MathCo is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven, and results-oriented Senior Associate Recruiter to join our growing Talent Acquisition team in Chicago, Illinois.

This is a hybrid role, requiring regular in-office collaboration in the Chicago area while also offering flexibility to work remotely.

In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, Human Resources, and the broader Talent Acquisition team to attract and hire exceptional talent across North America. You will play a critical role in developing talent pipelines, sourcing and engaging passive candidates, conducting candidate assessments, managing recruiting processes, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting within consulting, engineering, data science, analytics, AI, and technology-focused organizations, with a strong ability to identify and attract top talent in competitive markets. Experience supporting hiring aligned to Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or industry consulting practices is highly desirable.

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent across consulting, engineering, data science, analytics, AI, technology, and corporate functions.
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking events, talent communities, and market research to identify high-quality candidates.
Create compelling outreach campaigns that communicate MathCo's mission, culture, and career opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with prospective candidates and passive talent.
Develop market intelligence related to talent trends, competitor activity, compensation benchmarks, and talent availability.
Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring priorities, role requirements, and workforce planning needs.
Conduct recruiter screens and candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and overall fit.
Present qualified candidates and provide detailed recommendations to hiring teams.
Manage candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring timely communication and coordination.
Support offer development, offer presentation, negotiation, and candidate closing activities.
Ensure a high-quality, efficient, and consistent recruiting process across all assigned requisitions.

Candidate Experience

Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
Deliver responsive, thoughtful, and professional communication at every stage.
Set clear expectations regarding interview processes, timelines, and next steps.
Proactively address obstacles that may impact candidate engagement or hiring outcomes.
Gather candidate feedback and identify opportunities to improve the recruiting experience.
Represent and promote the MathCo employer brand in every candidate interaction.

Stakeholder Partnership

Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, business leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Lead intake meetings and develop recruiting strategies aligned with business needs and market conditions.
Provide talent market insights and strategic recommendations to support hiring decisions.
Partner with interview teams to ensure alignment on evaluation criteria and hiring decisions.
Maintain consistent communication regarding pipeline health, recruiting progress, and market trends.
Act as a trusted advisor through data-driven insights and talent intelligence.

Recruiting Operations & Reporting

Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Ensure compliance with recruiting processes, documentation standards, and data integrity requirements.
Track candidate movement, interview activity, and hiring progress across active searches.
Prepare recruiting reports, pipeline updates, and hiring metrics for leadership and stakeholders.
Support recruiting process improvements and operational initiatives.
Leverage recruiting analytics to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and hiring outcomes.

Employer Branding & Talent Programs

Support employer branding initiatives that strengthen MathCo's position as an employer of choice.
Build relationships with referral networks, alumni groups, universities, and professional communities.
Support diversity recruiting and talent attraction initiatives.
Share best practices and ideas that enhance recruiting effectiveness and candidate engagement.

What We’re Looking For

3-6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Executive Search, or Talent Sourcing.
Proven experience recruiting across consulting, engineering, data science, analytics, AI/ML, technology, digital transformation, or professional services roles.
Experience supporting high-growth organizations, consulting firms, technology companies, or analytics-focused businesses.
Exposure to Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Customer Analytics, or related domains is strongly preferred.
Strong sourcing expertise with demonstrated success identifying and engaging passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels.
Experience partnering directly with U.S.-based hiring managers and business leaders.
Ability to assess both technical and consulting-oriented talent.
Strong interviewing, candidate evaluation, and closing capabilities.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
Experience utilizing ATS platforms, CRM tools, and recruiting technologies.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruiting metrics and pipeline performance.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.

Location & Work Model

This position is based in the Chicago area and requires regular in-office collaboration with flexibility for remote work. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
