Job summary

MathCo in Chicago seeks an experienced Engagement Manager to lead strategic consulting engagements for a global CPG client within the Customer Success team. You will design, execute, and implement planning solutions, translating analytics into actionable recommendations and building trusted stakeholder relationships.

The role involves end-to-end client delivery, managing cross‑functional teams across time zones, and communicating strategy and delivery plans to executives while mitigating risks.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of experience leading projects and programs for large-scale clients.
• Experience with global CPG clients and planning solutions.
• Exceptional communication, client relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Budget management experience: >$1M.
• PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.

• Drive expansion of client engagements through solution demos and gap assessments.

Role Description

• We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead a strategic consulting engagement for a global CPG client. As a member of the Customer Success team, you will design, execute, and implement cutting-edge planning solutions for clients.
• You will be responsible for institutionalizing data-driven insights and recommendations, translating analytics into actionable strategies.
• The ideal candidate will have experience with large datasets, enjoy building relationships with stakeholders, and thrive in solving complex business problems through data and analytics, while leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• This role will involve understanding client businesses, generating insights, developing recommendations, and presenting these to clients and their management. You will also communicate strategy, delivery plans, and ensure alignment across teams while mitigating potential risks and escalations.
• The ideal candidate will need deep expertise in concepts of Demand Forecasting, Promotional Analytics, and Business Product Management, and will be responsible for end-to-end client delivery and stakeholder engagement
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, adapting solutions in evolving business environments.
• Demonstrated experience in cross-functional programs, working with senior stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Experience working on global projects and operating within a global delivery model, coordinating effectively across diverse teams and time zones.

• Drive expansion of client workstreams through demos of solution built, review of how solutions-built fits client needs and driving gap assessments
• Ensuring alignment between the client and internal teams by clearly communicating strategy, delivery plans, and proactively addressing potential risks.
• Build strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted partner providing thought leadership and strategic guidance.
• Leverage the global delivery model by working with cross-cultural teams.
• Support Business development initiatives, ensuring timely follow-through working with internal stakeholders

Required Educational Qualifications
