Job summary

State Street Corporation in New Jersey seeks a Senior Associate to support the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services team. You will maintain general ledger entries, prepare financial statements and fund disclosures, and analyze investment and fund performance data for real estate funds.

You will also handle capital calls and distributions, bank reconciliations, waterfall calculations, and client communications, contributing to timely, accurate reporting for premier real estate clients.

Qualifications

• Fund accounting or public accounting experience required.
• CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• Experience communicating at senior levels with clients and auditors.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to multi-task and meet client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for various fund entities.
• Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules and capital account allocations.
• Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment and fund performance data.
• Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare management, annual and incentive fee calculations.
• Prepare various client correspondences.
• Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations.
• Execute special projects as requested.
