Senior Associate Philanthropy Officer at Providence Portland Medical Center - Full-Time, Day Schedule

Advance the mission of the organization by increasing the level of involvement and philanthropic commitment of prospective donors in the surrounding service area. This position functions as a fundraising generalist with particular emphasis given to the cultivation and solicitation of annual gifts, the grateful patient program, donor acquisition and growth, and implementation of cultivation events and activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Experience in a comprehensive foundation program.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising with a strong emphasis on annual giving and stewardship strategies.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in fund development with knowledge of donor software management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare fundraising, with an emphasis on best practice for growing a grateful patient program.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
