Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center seeks a Senior Associate Philanthropy Officer to join our philanthropy team in a full-time, day-shift role focused on cultivating and soliciting annual gifts, managing the grateful patient program, donor acquisition, and growth, and coordinating cultivation events and activities.

As a generalist fundraiser, you will engage with donors across the service area, leveraging donor software tools, and contributing to a culture of philanthropy supporting Providence’s

• Bachelor's Degree or Experience in a comprehensive foundation program.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising with a strong emphasis on annual giving and stewardship strategies.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in fund development with knowledge of donor software management tools.

Senior Associate Philanthropy Officer at Providence Portland Medical Center - Full-Time, Day Schedule

Advance the mission of the organization by increasing the level of involvement and philanthropic commitment of prospective donors in the surrounding service area. This position functions as a fundraising generalist with particular emphasis given to the cultivation and solicitation of annual gifts, the grateful patient program, donor acquisition and growth, and implementation of cultivation events and activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or Experience in a comprehensive foundation program.
• Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated success in fundraising with a strong emphasis on annual giving and stewardship strategies.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in fund development with knowledge of donor software management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a system institution, with emphasis on best practices fund development within a regional area.

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
