Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the OB PSCU on a .75 FTE night shift (7pm–7:30am, rotating weekends). You will provide obstetric nursing care, monitor patients, and collaborate with a dedicated care team to ensure safety and comfort for mothers and newborns.

This role offers a night shift differential of $10/hr and an $8,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • License in state where care is delivered.
  • BLS and NRP within required timeframes.
  • 1 year nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric nursing care in the PSCU setting.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly as needed.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and comfort for mothers and newborns.

Description

RN – OB PSCU at Providence Portland Medical Center. This posting represents a .75 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 2, 12 hour shifts one week and 3, 12 hour shifts the next week) with rotating weekends.

Extra Incentives:
  • Night shift differential – $10.00 p/hr
  • $8,000 hiring bonus offered for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse License upon hire.

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
