The position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to work under pressure, and the capacity to write clear research notes for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• BA/BS with a strong academic record; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• SIE, Series 63, 86, & 87 or to obtain within 180 days.
• Distill research into an investable thesis and write reports/notes.
• Market ideas to internal constituents and clients via calls/trips.
• Facilitate direct corporate access for investors and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build financial models and write research reports.
• Conduct macroeconomic analysis of the global energy sector.
• Communicate ideas to institutional investors.
• Perform due diligence and collaborate with Citi's product team to identify trends.
• Track events and earnings, maintaining stock coverage.
• Develop valuation techniques and establish expertise in the space.
