Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Senior Associate to support IT assessments, transformation programs, and operational improvement initiatives across client engagements. This role blends hands-on analysis with project execution, client collaboration, and coordination of workstreams.

Based in any Ankura US office, you will evaluate IT operations, infrastructure, cloud, applications, vendor arrangements, and costs to develop practical improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in IT operations, IT consulting, or technology transformation.
• Experience supporting IT assessments, transformation programs, or operational improvement efforts.
• Familiarity with IT service management processes and frameworks (incident, problem, change, request, asset, SLA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data organization and trend identification.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business implications and actions.

Responsibilities

• Support IT assessments across strategy, operations, infrastructure, cloud services, applications, service delivery, and vendors.
• Analyze operational, financial, organizational, and technology data to identify performance gaps.
• Document current-state IT environments including processes and vendor arrangements.
• Develop IT strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps.
• Improve IT service management processes (incident, problem, change, request, asset, SLA).
• Assist with infrastructure and cloud modernization, cost optimization, and vendor management.
• Create financial models, benchmarks, dashboards, and client deliverables.
• Lead stakeholder interviews and manage defined workstreams with timelines and risks.
• Collaborate with client teams to implement recommended improvements.
• Prepare executive presentations translating findings into business actions.
• Support proposals, effort estimates, and other business development activities.
• Provide guidance and quality review to junior team members.
