Job summary

Rvohealth is seeking a Senior FP&A Associate in Charlotte, NC to perform financial analyses including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will work from the South Charlotte office Tuesday to Thursday, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and 3-5 years of relevant experience. The position offers a salary range of $75,000 - $85,000 along with comprehensive health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and present data-driven financial reports.
• Collaborate with key business partners to develop strategies.

The Senior FP&A Associate performs financial analyses including budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, and financial/data modeling. This role develops recommendations from information and results; considers and conducts additional analyses as appropriate. The Sr. FP&A Associate coordinates with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (9am-5pm) each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare month end business performance reports, including variance explanations and forward-looking performance estimates


• Deliver monthly projections and variance analytics on business performance while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to garner new insights and progress updates


• Monitor, analyze, and report on key financial metrics and operational performance indicators, providing timely insights to management.


• Prepare, deliver, and present clear, data-driven financial reports and presentations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.


• Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and decision-making.


• Collaborate with key business partners across the organization to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve growth, profitability, and cost efficiencies


• Identify opportunities for process improvements within FP&A workflows and implement best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.


• Mentor and provide guidance to junior FP&A team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


• 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar role.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel.


• In-depth knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles.


• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to articulate complex financial results.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Experience with Media or Healthcare business models


• Experience with Oracle Systems or similar ERP

• Starting Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience)
