Job summary

Korn Ferry in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Associate to manage the full search delivery cycle from initial candidate identification through to candidate interviews and shortlists presented to the client. This role supports executive and professional search work across the Consumer sector, with exposure to consumer-focused industries and markets.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a consulting or commercial environment with appropriate network.
• Demonstrable experience as a full life-cycle recruiter for retained search, including cold calling and client/candidate management.
• Experience recruiting within or supporting Consumer sector is preferred, with exposure to related markets.
• Consultative mindset and ability to anticipate clients' needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to new processes and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and conduct initial research into target organizations and industry sectors to identify top talent for mid to senior level roles.
• Identify talent by sourcing and mapping markets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Approach suitable candidates and qualify them against competencies and criteria for each project; create target lists and long-lists.
• Conduct candidate interviews, write interview reports, and present shortlists to clients.
• Provide weekly client updates and maintain communication with candidates and clients throughout the assignment.
• Coordinate interview logistics, gather feedback, and manage offers and start-date transitions.
