Job summary

DC Prep is a high-performing public charter network serving over 2,100 students across six campuses. We seek an Associate Director of Student Recruitment to lead multi-channel outreach and enrollment strategies, guiding families from awareness to Day One attendance.

You will develop partnerships, oversee campaigns, manage the Student Recruitment Associate, and use data to optimize conversion and enrollment outcomes across the DC Prep schools.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, marketing, or a related field.
• Two+ years of people management experience.
• Demonstrated success developing and executing recruitment, outreach, or marketing campaigns.
• Experience managing SIS/CRM platforms to support recruitment, communication, reporting.
• Knowledge of My School DC and OSSE enrollment systems or ability to learn quickly.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategies that drive family engagement and student enrollment across DC Prep campuses.
• Analyze recruitment data and funnel performance to identify trends and optimize conversion.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations to expand visibility and enrollment opportunities.
• Coordinate events and tours, and engage families through multiple touchpoints.
• Manage outreach through phone, email, text, CRM campaigns, and in-person engagement.
• Collaborate with school leaders and marketing to align recruitment with enrollment goals.
• Support and improve recruitment tools and processes to strengthen the enrollment pipeline.
• Coach the Student Recruitment Associate on strategy execution and messaging.
• Represent DC Prep at external events and community meetings.
