Job summary

Clarendon College is seeking a Director of Recruitment and Student Engagement to lead recruitment strategy, enrollment outreach, and student engagement initiatives that drive enrollment growth, retention, and student success.

The role collaborates across academic and student affairs to ensure a seamless student experience from prospective student through graduation, with work hours potentially including evenings, weekends, or holidays for events and travel.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of recruiting and outreach best practices.
• General marketing and social media skills preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan to achieve annual enrollment goals.
• Plan recruitment activities for school districts and external programs, including onsite events.
• Develop and manage communications for prospective students and families throughout the recruitment cycle.
• Coordinate with the college marketing company to prepare and distribute recruitment materials.
• Create recruitment materials for prospective students.
• Coordinate campus visit programs, on-site and virtual, for prospective students and parents.
• Oversee campus-wide student activities, traditions, and leadership programs.
• Support and advise the Student Government Association and student organizations.
• Provide resources and opportunities for students to explore career and degree options, including workshops and career fairs.
• Assist with engagement activities and commencement ceremonies.
• Develop and implement a Clarendon College Bulldog Ambassador program.
• Manage department budgets and participate in college committees as assigned.
• Support college activities and events through attendance and participation.
• Comply with college policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
