Job summary

Lakefront Biotherapeutics NV in South San Francisco seeks an Associate Director of Clinical Supply Chain to plan and deliver investigational product for clinical studies. The role owns the clinical supply strategy from demand forecasting through packaging, labeling, distribution, inventory management, and reconciliation, collaborating with Clinical Operations, Quality, Regulatory, and external vendors.

Hybrid onsite 2–3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, life sciences, business, or related field.
• 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech supply chain, incl. clinical trials.
• Experience with clinical supply planning, forecasting, packaging, labeling, and distribution.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and regional regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing CMOs, depots, couriers and other vendors.
• Knowledge of GMP and GCP for investigational product.
• Strong planning, problem solving, and cross-functional communication.
• Experience supporting global studies and injectable biologics.

Responsibilities

• Develop clinical supply plans and forecasts from study design and enrollment.
• Manage supply for study startup, ongoing enrollment, amendments, and closeout.
• Oversee packaging, labeling, storage, distribution and returns of trial material.
• Coordinate international shipments and country-specific labeling with partners.
• Maintain inventory targets and monitor depot/site stock to avoid shortages.
• Support setup and management of IRT systems for supply functions.
• Ensure compliance with GxP and clinical trial documentation standards.
