Job summary

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional Associate Deputy Director/Special Projects Administrator for Quality Assurance Administration. Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in social work or a related human services field.
• Requires four years of administrative child welfare experience with an MSW or five years with a related master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Leads special projects and develops qualitative case review instruments, rating guides, training, reporting, and improvement recommendations.
• Serves as full line supervisor.
• Provides professional technical assistance and consultation to teams of management staff and multidisciplinary groups for evaluative reviews of the Department and partner agencies.
• Monitors CQI projects and ensures databases (PowerBI) generate visual reports as needed.
• Represents the Deputy/Director before state agencies and external partners to explain Department policies and objectives.
• Performs other duties within the scope of the assigned responsibilities.
