Job summary

Zoot Enterprises is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide legal guidance across a broad range of business issues, including regulatory compliance, contracts, licensing, intellectual property, employment, tax, and corporate governance. The role supports the General Counsel and senior management while representing the company in internal and external matters.

You will draft and negotiate agreements, assess legal risk, and help establish policies.

Qualifications

• JD/LS degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active bar in at least one state; MT preferred.
• 10+ years in law firm or in-house corporate practice.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and advisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise senior management on business and legal issues across domains.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts and licenses.
• Assess legal risks and provide clear guidance with supported conclusions.
• Stay current with consumer financial services, privacy, IP, employment, tax laws.
• Lead and mentor junior lawyers; coordinate with outside counsel.
