Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel, Products, to guide legal strategy across product ideation, development, and go-to-market initiatives. You’ll negotiate terms, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with federal procurement rules in support of mission-driven clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm, corporate, or government environment.
• Experience with product and technology transactions in an in-house role, including go to market activities and developing and negotiating product terms and conditions and associated agreements.
• Experience with federal procurement requirements such as FAR and DFARS, including FAR Part 12 acquisitions.
• Experience with commercial contract negotiation, including federal or non-federal, prime, and lower tier.
• Experience partnering closely with operational teams and business leaders to develop comprehensive strategies and approaches to bringing products to market.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and advise on product risk profiles, and design and implement practical mitigation strategies.
• Ability to translate legal complexities into clear business solutions.
• Ability to execute against goals, priorities, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance throughout product ideation, development, go to market, and transactional processes.
• Assist in negotiating license documents and Ts & Cs and related agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and enterprise operations to address trends and process improvements.
• Support transactional legal teams across defense, national security, and civil sectors.
